The project at the "Ponte Ronaco" archaeological park includes restoring the Roman bridge, redesigning the access road to the area and environmental regeneration of the surrounding area.
The restoration of the bridge aims to prevent disrepair while keeping additions to a minimum as well as restoring the integrity of the wall's structure with distinctive but reversible modifications.
Upgrading the surrounding areas will involve redesigning the park's guided tour to lead along two different nature trails, allowing the bridge to be used for different purposes; a proposal for a pedestrian bridge over the river to give continuity to the visitor route connecting the two banks; redesigning the access road; rearranging the parking area; reorganising the green spaces; a lighting project including lighting fixtures, supports and lines, making a substantial impact on the structure and the surrounding environment without altering the appearance and also ensuring cost-effective management.
